The air gets so dead and cold every time you enter the room. Bring all your friends and all the people who act just like you do. The fallacies fall short and keep on spewing out of their mouths. I plead for someone to save me, but no one comes out. And I can't believe it's come to this. I hope you find the place where you thought you belonged after all. Your life's so drastically, so different from the one I control. Your one-dimensional heart's conviction never built up. Just drink the rest of all the shame in your cup. And I can't believe it's come to this. (It's come to this) And every time I looked into your eyes, I see the emptiness lurking inside. You never had a purpose or a sense of direction, and you never will. You use gossip as a crutch to hold conversation. It wasn't worth it, hold your breath 'cause you need to save it. When the world strikes you down in the future, Don't come crawling back to me. All you can do is step back and stare, You're a fraud, you're a fake, and you don't even care. I hope you find the place where you thought you belonged after all. Your life's so drastically, so different from the one I control. Your one-dimensional heart's conviction never built up. Just drink the rest of all the shame in your cup. And I can't believe it's come to this. (It's come to this) If you were my real friend, you wouldn't betray me in the end. I've taken time to realize these were wounds I never wanted to mend

This distance is keeping us from staying close. Clearly I'm the one who's trying to keep this bond afloat. Sink or swim, I'm gonna win, 'Cause you're the one treading cloudy waters. Rise or die, you said goodbye, This was proof that I didn't falter. Turn back time and see ourselves in golden days. Our connection had me feel something I can't convey. The sun shone brighter at times like these. But now it's gone and my head's filled with worries. How do people deal with long-distance relationships? Now your patience and persistence have lost their grip. Bonds of people you lived near grew fonder, Leaving me restless and left to wander. Now our friendship's dead and gone. After all of this I felt like a pawn in this game that you had me play. But I learned of the real you and you taught me how to see the truth.

You joined a new group to feel like you were part of something bigger than yourself. With all these other types who have nothing else to live for. They left their lives upon a shelf. I never thought that I would see the day when you pulled a 180 on your entire life. Your plans didn't fall through and I tried to stop you from giving into your vice. You don't belong in this circle of so-called friends. They were just fragments of who they could have been. This isn't the life for you, what happened to us? We were such good friends with unbroken trust. Why can't I tear your face out of my head? The way they let you in was through a series of tests. You gladly accepted, ignorant of the distress. This was a trial, but more like an error, To me all you are is nothing but a failure. You are nothing but a failure. You passed their test and you feel more accomplished. Was this the collection of people that you wished for? You don't belong in this circle of so-called friends. They were just fragments of who they could have been. This isn't the life for you, what happened to us? We were such good friends with unbroken trust. Why can't I tear your face out of my head? I thought we had something in common, But I saw past your complexion. We're only similar at face value, Then I had to ask, "What happened to the old you?" I thought that we were fucked up kids, But then I realized you were more unstable. On the verge of a mental breakdown, You had way too much on your mind to handle. It's funny how much you changed in four months. I've got a grip on what it means to grow up. And I can't wait to see the day you fall. You can drown in all of the drugs and alcohol. You don't belong in this circle of so-called friends. They were just fragments of who they could have been. This isn't the life for you, what happened to us? We were such good friends with unbroken trust. Why can't I tear your face out of my head? What happened to us? What happened to you?

Fall Came 03:30
I've gone insane all thanks to you. What is this hell you had to put me through. You never took the action to speak to me. (I've learned) that actions speak louder than words, Regardless of what you have heard. Above all things assigned to do, I always tried to talk to you. But all attempts have failed and your ship has set its sails. We used to hang out in the summer, Then fall came and shattered all our plans like shards of glass Blown away by the winter. We spent those nights driving through city roads Singing to songs that we all love and know. I wish my whole life could have stayed this way. But now friendships are one-sided. I was once one to confide in. This is the fire that you ignited. And every single day, I always try to find a change. One month later, miscommunications brought up these unnecessary situations. This is the seed you planted in my head. It sprouted feeding off my depression. My will to live resorted to regression. Funny how destruction is a form of creation. This broken mind has embodied aggression. I have no need for your empty life to fill the void in me. 'Cause now I've found a place in my head where I'm finally free. All attempts have failed, and your ship has set its sails.

Come September, this is where the weather starts to take a toll on my summer-born soul. With cold weather comes bitter attitudes that will bring shivers down my spine. But I've trained this backbone to uphold, I'm gonna change my fate this time. People are knocking me down. Despite what they thought I'm not out. When they think of me they have doubt. I'll give them someone they can't live without. Stand up and sing, We can break the chains bound to the anchors pulling us down. Have no regrets For the person inside us that we have found. Away with these insecurities surrounding our lives. We don't need to bother with that weakness anymore. Step by step, I'm taking my own advice. I'm going down the staircase leading to my inner core. People are knocking me down. Despite what they thought I'm not out. When they think of me they have doubt. I'll give them someone they can't live without. Stand up and sing, We can break the chains bound to the anchors pulling us down. Have no regrets For the person inside us that we have found. This time, it's going to be different. I'll be making a difference in me From what I learned about these people In my life whose views disagree With mine, but they were all empty inside. They filled their life with substances, I filled mine with clarity. They'll learn about the consequences eventually.

It started when you were born. When you were young, you didn't know what was in store. Small town, big city, or wherever you're from, Those dreams will be achieved with all your passion. There's more to life than what high school has to offer. It's only four years, then the path is yours to alter. It doesn't matter where you were born. (Who cares where you came from?) You don't have to leave your talents at the door. (This chord you will strum.) Leaving this town will set your free (This is your goodbye.) From all these people whose views you disagree. (Those you will defy.) They all said you can't find success, (But in your defense) Now you're moving on to constant progress. These kids revolving around your life had nothing better to do Than to put you down with words, unaware of your big breakthrough. They said you won't go far out of this dead-end town. But you proved them wrong and you said, "You can't ever put me down." It doesn't matter where you were born. What you do with your life, Through the days and the nights, You better make sure your decisions feel right. And time can wear thin, But keep wearing that grin. Everything you've built up will seep into your skin. It's the life that you have sewn, Become the person that you own.
