Come September, this is where the weather starts to take a toll on my summer-born soul.
With cold weather comes bitter attitudes that will bring shivers down my spine.
But I've trained this backbone to uphold,
I'm gonna change my fate this time.

People are knocking me down.
Despite what they thought I'm not out.
When they think of me they have doubt.
I'll give them someone they can't live without.

We can break the chains bound to the anchors pulling us down.

For the person inside us that we have found.

Away with these insecurities surrounding our lives.
We don't need to bother with that weakness anymore.

I'm going down the staircase leading to my inner core.
